I wanted to take a moment to set context for this newsletter so you know exactly what to expect — and what you won’t.

I’m calling this newsletter Breaking Ground.

Twice a month, on the first and third Wednesday, I’ll be sharing a short update focused on one thing:

What we’re seeing and doing in small-scale multi-family development.

That includes:

• Lessons from active projects

• How we think about risk, structure, and execution

• What actually matters when turning land into long-term rental housing

• And, when relevant, updates on current or upcoming investment opportunities

Not every email will include an opportunity. When something is available, I’ll explain the thinking behind it, how it’s structured, and who it’s a fit for — without hype or pressure.

This isn’t a high-frequency marketing newsletter, and it’s not meant to flood your inbox.
The goal is simply to share real perspective, stay connected, and be transparent about what we’re building and why.
